1. 22nd Annual Stoweflake Hot Air Balloon Festival. July 11-13. Stowe, Vt. Twenty-five of the country's most prominent balloonists will take to the skies, while on the ground there will be a children's corner, live entertainment, and balloon launches and tethers.

2. Johnstown Film and Wine Festival.
