Philly police need help IDing 2 behind Super Bowl ticket heist (VIDEO)

It seems the men who stole Super Bowl LII tickets from a car in a Northern Liberties parking garage weren't exactly criminal masterminds.

It seems the men who stole Super Bowl LII tickets from a car in a Northern Liberties parking garage weren't exactly criminal masterminds.

Philadelphia police – who are seeking help in identifying two members of what Mayor Kenney has called the city's "knucklehead contingent"  – have released a video that clearly shows the suspects driving into the garage at 11 p.m. on Jan. 26 in a gray sedan with a dented front passenger-side door.

The two are seen wandering around the garage at 1101 N. Delaware Ave., loitering in the stairwell in clear view of security cameras, and, police presume, discussing how they'll break into a woman's car and take two tickets to the history-making game, along with other valuables.

It was far from the only criminal activity that bubbled up before, during, and after the Eagles' unexpected triumph over the New England Patriots on Feb. 4.

Many other acts, though, seemed born less of premeditated mischief than of temporary insanity after 57 years without a championship.

Two people were arrested during the parade Thursday, one for assaulting a police officer, and two stabbings were reported. After the game, as fans poured into Philadelphia streets, a gas station convenience store was looted, store windows were smashed, a car was overturned, and traffic signals in Center City were laid low. Eight people were arrested in the incidents.

Meanwhile, an Eagles fan who stole a seat from Minneapolis' U.S. Bank Stadium – and was caught on a video that quickly went viral – agreed to pay for the damage.
