What a party! What a mess!

Philadelphia Streets Department crews were still busy Friday morning cleaning up a sea of trash left behind after Thursday's Eagles Super Bowl parade and victory celebration on the steps of the Art Museum.

Beer cans and bottles. Paper cups. Plastic bags. Lawn chairs. Sleeping bags. Blankets. It was all abandoned as parade goers headed home after Philadelphia's first-ever Super Bowl celebration.

Streets Commissioner Carlton Williams said the clean up operating would continued through the day, concentrating around Eakins Oval where parade goers left behind a "tremendous amount of waste" and nearby neighborhoods.

"We are happy to clean up after such a massive, massive parade," he said.
