If you missed our earlier blog post, we caught up with defending Wing Bowl champ Super Squibb to get some final thoughts on his preparation for Friday's event. We also had Q&As with a couple other contestants.

If you missed our earlier blog post, we caught up with defending Wing Bowl champ Super Squibb to get some final thoughts on his preparation for Friday's event. We also had Q&As with a couple other contestants.

Q: How do you prepare for a competition like Wing Bowl?

The Wild Turkey:
Mentally, I just go in it with a care-free attitude. And physically, I’ve looked online to see what other people have done before. I’ve been trying to stretch my stomach. I eat a lot of lettuce. I started with four heads of lettuce in one sitting and now I’m up to about nine heads.

Q: Where is your favorite place to get wings?

The Wild Turkey:
Landmark Americana in Glassboro, NJ.

Q: What is the worst food you have ever eaten?

The Wild Turkey:
Brussel sprouts.

Q: If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?

The Wild Turkey: Lasagna.

Q: If you could pick any woman in the world to be your wingette, who would it be?

The Wild Turkey:
I'm going to go with an obvious choice, Megan Fox.


Next up was the Oink Oink:

Q: How do you prepare for a competition like Wing Bowl?

Oink Oink:
There are a couple a tricks of the trade I’ve read about like eating lettuce and drinking a lot of water. I’ve been doing that. I’m trying to keep my head on and when it’s game time, it’s game time.

Q: Where is your favorite place to get wings?

Oink Oink:
Buckets on Old York Road.

Q: What is the worst food you have ever eaten?

Oink Oink:
I’ve been eating a lot of cabbage and lettuce to help expand my stomach, and raw cabbage is disgusting.

Q: If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Oink Oink:
Chink's Steaks.

Q: If you could pick any woman in the world to be your wingette, who would it be?

Oink Oink:
Megan Fox.


And finally, The Heavy Weight:

Q: How do you prepare for a competition like Wing Bowl?

The Heavy Weight:
I’ve been doing a lot of time trials with actual wings. I’ve been eating a head or two of lettuce a day, and drinking a lot of water.

Q: Where is your favorite place to get wings?

The Heavy Weight: Buffalo Wild Wings.

Q: What is the worst food you have ever eaten?

The Heavy Weight:
Seafood. I hate it. Anything that I don’t like the smell of, I can’t eat. I’ve tried it a million and I just can’t do it.

Q: If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?

The Heavy Weight:
Eggplant parm.

Q: If you could pick any woman in the world to be your wingette, who would it be?

The Heavy Weight:
Megan Fox.
