Soul trade for defensive lineman
The Eagles aren’t the only football team in town making roster moves as the Soul made some moves of their own Wednesday.
The Soul acquired defensive lineman Ko Quaye from the Chicago Rush via a trade.
In exchange for Quaye, the Soul sent the Rush the No. 4 spot in the waiver claim order.
The Soul gained the No. 4 spot in the claim order after trading wide receiver Donovan Morgan to the New Orleans VooDoo earlier in the offseason.
Quaye has very little AFL experience by playing in only two games with the Tampa Bay Storm in 2012.
In his short time with the Storm, Quaye recorded two tackles and a pass breakup.
In another roster move, the Soul placed starting center Brennan Carvalho on the physically unable to perform list.
