About the Gladiators: The win over Spokane last week snapped a four-game losing streak and finally clinched a playoff berth . . . Wide receiver Collin Taylor had five touchdown catches against Spokane and was named the league's player of the week. Taylor had four TDs the week before . . . Cleveland, beset by injuries all over the roster, was 17-1 last year.

About the Soul: This game is meaningless, since both teams are locked into their playoff seeds. The Soul, the top seed in the American Conference, will host Cleveland (fourth seed) next week . . .
