Standings: Soul (10-2) are in first place in the American East; the Kiss (2-9) are in last place in the National West.

Last week: The Soul are coming off their second defeat after scoring a season-low 42 points in a 45-42 loss at Orlando. Predators quarterback Bernard Morris did most of the damage, rushing for 79 yards and three touchdowns and passing for 174 yards and two more scores. The second-year Kiss earned their biggest win in franchise history, knocking off unbeaten San Jose, 48-42, in overtime.

Last meeting: This is the first meeting between the teams.
