Soul running back Ross named first-team AFL
OL Wayne Tribue is named to the second team.
SOUL RUNNING back Derrick Ross was named first-team all-AFL for the fourth consecutive season.
Ross, the league's all-time leading rusher, broke his own team record this season by running for 36 touchdowns.
Ross should get consideration for the league's offensive MVP award, though Arizona quarterback Nick Davila is probably the favorite. The remainder of the AFL's awards will be announced next week ahead of the Aug. 23 championship game between Cleveland and visiting Arizona.
Soul offensive lineman Wayne Tribue, a Temple product, was named second-team all-league. Tribue is in training camp with the Dallas Cowboys.
