Soul fall to Storm, 63-49

The host Tampa Bay Storm got out to a 14-0 lead over the Soul in the first quarter and never looked back in winning Friday's AFL game, 63-49.

The Soul managed to put 21 points on the board and tried to make a game of it, but the Soul trailed, 35-21, at the half.

They were never able to stop Tampa Bay's attack.

Soul quarterback Dan Raudabaugh completed 32 of 47 passes for 335 yards and six touchdowns, and one interception.

The Storm's Randy Hippeard threw seven TDs.

Tampa Bay is now 2-1, while the Soul slips to 0-2.

The Soul visit Orlando on Thursday, before playing their home opener on April 19, when they host Jacksonville at 6 p.m.
