The Arena Football League champion Soul players, coaches and executives will gather for a celebratory procession up Market Street today at 3 p.m.
They will begin at 6th Street and end with a rally at City Hall's Dilworth Plaza. Soul co-owner Jon Bon Jovi will address the fans, but not with a guitar in his hands. Fans are asked to gather in the plaza at City Hall for the ceremony, expected to begin around 3:20.
SEPTA said that delays are expected starting at 2 p.m. today on Center City bus routes 17, 33, 38, 44, 48 and 124/125 because of the procession.
Bon Jovi said after Sunday's 59-56 win over San Jose in ArenaBowl XXII that the concert he promised if the Soul won the championship would be held before next season's opener. *
