Soul QB Graziani placed on injured reserve

Soul veteran quarterback Tony Graziani has been placed on injured reserve and will miss at least 4 weeks.

Graziani has been hampered by a knee injury since a late hit by New York defensive lineman John Nix on March 16. Graziani missed five of the next seven games. He wasn't expected to play last week against Cleveland, but entered the game when Matt D'Orazio sprained his ankle. D'Orazio was not listed on this week's injury report and will start Monday's game at Georgia.

AFL veteran Glenn Gauntt, a product of South Florida University, was signed by the Soul to back up D'Orazio. Graziani could return for the June 7 game at Dallas.

The Soul (9-1) can clinch a playoff berth with a win Monday and a loss by Tampa Bay. The Storm (3-6) host New Orleans (7-3) tomorrow night. *
