Superstar rapper Snoop Lion's next big idea: buying Scottish soccer powerhouse Glasgow Celtic

Celtic FC manager Neil Lennon is OK with Snoop Lion, the rapper formerly known as Snoop Dogg, showing an interest in the Scottish team.

Celtic FC manager Neil Lennon is OK with Snoop Lion, the rapper formerly known as Snoop Dogg, showing an interest in the Scottish team.

"As long as I got invited to one of his parties, it would be OK," Lennon jokingly told the Daily Record, of Glasgow, Scotland.

It's no secret Snoop is an big soccer fan. Last month, he was hired by EA Sports to promote its "FIFA 13" video game.

He's already dreamin' and schemin' about what he will do if he gets a piece of Celtic, saying he'll try to sign David Beckham, who on Monday said the MLS Cup on Dec. 1 will be his last game with the Los Angeles Galaxy.

"LA is home for him and his family now," Snoop told the Record. "But I would have to at least make that offer to my boy. We have lunch when we can, so next time, you know, I am going to speak to him about it. Never say never."

Currently, the Celtic anthem is "You'll Never Walk Alone."

We can't help but think that if Snoop comes on board, he'll change it to Cypress Hill's "Hits from the Bong."
