Carlos Tévez will be revealed as the newest Juventus player on Thursday, after passing the first part of his medical and putting pen to paper on a three-year deal on Wednesday. The deal is worth €9m, but the forward is also eligible for €6m in bonuses over the next three seasons.
Tévez joined Manchester City from Manchester United in the summer of 2009. The Argentine had 107 appearances in his four seasons with City, scoring 58 goals with the club. Last season, he made 28 league starts and scored 11 goals. Of course, he also had his share of problems while with Manchester City, refusing to come on as a substitute, being suspended by the club, demanding a transfer and hiding out in Argentina for awhile.
Juventus seem confident, however, that the player has put his rocky past behind him. For his part, Tévez appears thrilled to be joining the bianconeri, and happy to don the coveted #10 shirt.
