Union manager John Hackworth confirmed the reports of midfielder Freddy Adu's imminent trade to Brazilian first division side Bahia, but noted that despite talks that could bring Brazilian stalwart midfielder José Kléberson to Philly, the deal is not yet complete.

“That deal is not done right now,” Hackworth said emphatically. “There are still some hurdles that have to be stepped over in order for that to happen. The reality is that we think it’s a good situation for both Freddy and the Union and it could potentially bring us a very high profile player from Brazil.”

Hackworth also addressed trade rumors involving defender Bakary Soumare.

Kerith Gabriel, the Union’s digital media manager, has all more in the latest installment of the “Daily Doop.”
