What do you think? I like it, especially the navy blue. And the stripe reminds me of Ajax a bit.

not a bad uniform, at least it's not loaded with sponsors all across and doesn't have a bankrupt co on theirs like that dread team across the Atlantic, Man U.

It will have a sponsor eventually. But I doubt it will be AIG, at least.

Ajax - excellent!!! maybe we'll have a free spirit on the team who insists on a shirt with 2 stripes on the arm instead of 3!!! I priced one - obscene - and of course we don't know what name or number to put on the back - cause we have no players yet! The sponsor will be on the front soon enough...I'm hoping it'll be Tastykake or Yuengling but it will probably be Comcast or some stupid bank.
About Jonathan Tannenwald
I fell in love with the Big 5 at first sight upon moving to Philadelphia in 2002. At various points in my journalistic career, I've covered all six of the region's Division I teams. During that time, I've eaten many soft pretzels from the Palestra's concession stands, which is how this blog got its name.

I also contribute to the Inquirer's women's basketball blog, Women's Hoops Guru.
