Linc still in running to host World Cup games

Lincoln Financial Field is one of 32 facilities still under consideration as a potential site should the United States win the right to host either the 2018 or 2022 World Cup.

The USA Bid Committee yesterday eliminated 11 possible stadiums. The United States' bid to host the tournaments is due in May and FIFA, soccer's governing body, will decide the host for the 2018 and 2022 Cups in December of 2010.
