Last MLS game: The Union played Toronto FC to a 1-1 draw Saturday at PPL Park. New York dropped a 2-0 decision at Sporting Kansas City on Saturday.

Outlook: New York would clinch the 10th and final MLS playoff spot with a win. . . . The Union would clinch at least one of the top three spots in the Eastern Conference with a win and avoid competing in the wild-card round. . . . New York is 3-2-4 in its last nine games. . . . The Union are 3-0-5 in their last eight games. . . . In their other meeting this year, the Union defeated the Red Bulls, 1-0, on April 9 at PPL Park. . . . The Red Bulls' leading scorer, Thierry Henry, who has 14 goals, must miss the Union game after receiving a red card in Saturday's loss to Kansas City. He received the card in the 28th minute, forcing New York to play with 10 men the rest of the game. Kansas City scored two second-half goals in the win. . . . Midfielder Joel Lindpere and Dane Richards share the assist lead for New York with seven each. . . . Sebastien Le Toux leads the Union in goals (11) and assists (9) and has scored a total of 10 goals in the last 12 games. Le Toux scored in Saturday's draw with Toronto that clinched the playoff spot. . . . In the April win over New York, Roger Torres scored his first MLS goal. . . . Union team manager Peter Nowak said that midfielder-forward Veljko Paunovic was the only player questionable for the game. He has a hamstring injury.
