For kicks: A win will put the Union back in contention for a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. The only competition the team has had since last week's clash with Eurogiant Manchester United is a scrimmage against the Harrisburg City Islanders on Tuesday that resulted in a 1-1 tie . . . Don't let the Revolution record fool you. With its potent attack, New England enters PPL with a four-game winning streak (all shutouts, the last three in SuperLiga play) led by forward Marko Perovic, who has scored three goals in the Revs' last four games. Backup goalkeeper Matt Reis accounted for three of the four clean sheets. They got the ball rolling with a 2-0 win over the Los Angeles Galaxy, currently tops in MLS.
