The Philadelphia Union, preparing for their inaugural season in 2010, will hold open tryouts this fall for players who believe they have the skills to make it in Major League Soccer.

Team manager Peter Nowak and his staff will hold the sessions in November and December.

The first is set for 8 a.m. on Nov. 14 at Mercer County Park Field No. 1 in Trenton. Nowak and his staff will identify players they want to invite back for another look at the same location the following day.

The second session will be at 8 a.m. on Dec. 5 at Penn's Rhodes Field. Similar to the first session, some will be invited back for another look on Dec. 6 at the same location.

Players must sign up online, choosing only one tryout site, and pay a $30 registration fee. Each player will receive a Philadelphia Union T-shirt. To register or for information, please click on: http://philadelphiaunion.com/Default.aspx

Philadelphia Union's first games will be March 25, 2010 vs. Seattle at the Sounders' Qwest Field. The club's home opener vs. D.C. United will be April 10, 2010, at Lincoln Financial Field.
