The Sixers reverted to their old logo during draft week. Guess the throwback theme means we can expect draft choices of the Al Henry, Shawn Bradley, Shaler Halimon ilk. By the way, Cohen and Al Henry went to Wisconsin together. In fact, I think Henry once spilled some Russian dressing on Cohen's letter-sweater.

So on Sixers retro night, do we now get last year's uniforms? Unless Andre Miller is giving Ed Stefanski signals that he isn't offering the rest of the world, this draft is obvious - Ty Lawson. I don't believe that eight-man draft board. Lawson's been the best point guard at every level, and he can shoot. The only question is whether he'll be there. I'd move up a little to get him or move up a lot to get Stephen Curry. As for who spilled what on Cohen's sleeve when, that's always a tough puzzle. I've got another food issue to bring up. Yesterday, Gonz got all happy about Pizza Hut's pizza. There are 8,943 great pizza places around here, and he expresses his love for chain pizza? Where does he go for cheesesteaks, Subway?

If the Sixers could somehow get Curry, I might even pay to see a game next season. I'm beginning to wonder about Gonzo. No self-respecting Philadelphian would ever consider Pizza Hut for a pie. By the way, stop talking about Curry and pizza. You're making Salisbury hungry. You ever see Jimmy pack it in? If he and Cohen ever go fork-to-fork, I'd put my money on Salisbury.

Everybody wants Curry. They're not getting him easily, although I'd give up anybody on the roster to make it happen. Lawson can help, though. And I have had the pleasure of dining with Salisbury. Watched him happily eat half a barbecue restaurant then go write three stories.

They used to be a basketball team.

They can take a step toward being one again by getting Curry.
