Sixers sign summer league center Norvel Pelle

The Sixers announced they have signed center Norvel Pelle.

The 76ers signed center Norvel Pelle team announced Friday.

Pelle, a native of Antigua and Barbuda, averaged 7.4 points and 4.2 rebounds in five games with the Sixers during July's summer league in Las Vegas.

In 2013 the Delaware Blue Coats (then the 87ers) chose the 6-foot-11 Pelle with the sixth overall pick in the D League draft. He spent two seasons with the Sixers G League affiliate before spending time in Lebanon, and Italy.
