Sixers assign Furkan Korkmaz to 87ers for a day

Furkan Korkmaz was assigned to the Delaware 87ers for a few hours Thursday.

The 76ers sent the reserve rookie swingman to their G-League affiliate to get in practice time since they were off Thursday. The Sixers recalled him after the Sevens practice.

Korkmaz has yet to see any game action for the Sixers (1-4). He was inactive the first four games and was in warmups on the bench during Wednesday's loss to the Houston Rockets. He's expected to play several games for the Sevens when their season starts.
