SHENZHEN, China —  Dario Saric isn't playing in Monday morning's game against the Dallas Mavericks because of lower back soreness.

The 76ers power forward is listed as day to day. The team is not concerned, but still decided to rest him in the final preseason game.

The Sixers are playing the Mavericks at the Shenzhen Universiade Centre in the second of two NBA China Games meetings between the teams. The Sixers won Friday morning's game, 120-114, at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai.

Mike Muscala started in place of Saric on Monday.

Saric averaged 14.6 points and 6.7 rebounds last season. He has career averages of  13.7 points and 6.5 points in 159 games through two seasons. The Sixers acquired him in the 2014 NBA draft, and the Croatian spent two seasons playing professionally in Turkey before joining the Sixers. He finished the 2016-17 season as the runner-up for the NBA rookie of the year.
