Emeka Okafor and Kris Humphries are among the notable names on the 76ers' training camp roster.

Both players have signed non-guaranteed contracts with the organization that is looking to take the next step in its rebuilding process.

Okafor, a distant cousin of Sixers center Jahlil Okafor, is trying to return to the NBA after having last played for the Washington Wizards in 2012-13. The center came into the league as the second overall pick by the Charlotte Bobcats in the 2004 draft. He played nine seasons with the Bobcats, New Orleans Hornets, and Washington Wizards. The 34-year-old has averaged 12.3 points, 9.9 rebounds, and 1.7 blocks in 590 career games. The Wizards traded him to the Phoenix Suns before the 2013-14 season, but Okafor missed that season because of a herniated disc in his neck and remained unsigned for the last three seasons.

Humphries, the 14th overall pick in the 2004 draft, played the past two seasons for the Atlanta Hawks. He made 56 appearances with four starts in 2016-17. He averaged 4.6 points and 3.7 rebounds in 12.3 minutes. The 13-year veteran has also played for the Utah Jazz, Toronto Raptors, Dallas Mavericks, New Jersey/Brooklyn Nets, Boston Celtics, Wizards, and Suns.
