Man, are the team's weaknesses really coming back to bite them in the behind. Rebounding, and Iguodala's lack of points really wrote their own grave, among other issues. This team needs to go into full-time rebuilding mode, and clear cap space. Get rid of everyone with the exception of Turner, Holiday, Brand(he's not going ANYWHERE with his age and contract), and Young. Trade Iguodala for a quality young big, or shooter combined slasher, and whichever we do not acquire from that trade, use our draft pick to acquire that other piece. Draft position isn't everything folks, we just need to evaluate the talent to our needs better. Apparently M16 is a team cancer; he's looking to be the next pre-Memphis Zach Randolph. Either whip him into shape, or ship him out. Young cannot continue to play power forward, his lack of rebounding, and post defense have bitten us too many times (this series, and playoffs vs. Orlando '09 as proof), this honeymoon has to end. Collins, help him develop some handles, range, defense, and free-throw shooting. And fire everyone in the front office, and start anew. I'd much rather have next season be a '11 Cavaliers team, and be assured where really headed in the right direction, instead of running in place for years.

Well.... lol. I want to thank Collins and Curry for their effort this season. The defensive rotations were noticeable from day 1. But you can't change a players core values. And Lou and iguodala just don't have it. The physical play the ability to compete without the ball AT ALL TIMES! Something that's MANDATORY in the playoffs they don't have. Players BATTLING on the strong side for a rebound. Iguodala.. Hes on the weakside standing str8t up. WATCHING! Instead of throwing a body into Z. Z has an UNCONTESTED PUT BACK. A FEW OF THEM! Mike Bibby. MIKE BIBBY! anticipates and beats Lou Williams for a rebound. Ball reversal to the weakside was TOO SLOW! And if it was on time BRAND STOPPED THE BALL IN THE MIDDLE! Meeks standing there wide open Thad finds him but Meeks has to turn into a short stop to catch the ball. We need cap space. Lou iguodala Noc hawes. HAS TO GO! I got the feeling iguodala was sabotaging the gameplan. Some of the things he did at the time he did it MADE NO SENSE and had me shaking my head. No more patience with that guy. IM DONE! Noones THAT DUMB. Shotclock at 1. AND HE PASSES..???!! I like Thad. Any man who's WILLING to battle/ BANG with a bigger man is my kind of guy. BUT based on what I see OVERALL from him we can't overpay for heart. The shot. The skill. The passing. The handle. The footwork. the defense. IS! NOT! THERE! 6 years 42 mil.

How long has it been since the last Sixers win? Seems like about a month?!? They played hard and gave it their best shot - but I thought when LouWil missed two of three foul shots late in the game, it was telling. The Sixers needed to do just about everything perfect to win - and foul shooting and rebounding let them down. Iggy is becoming the new McNabb. Loved by the national media and loathed by Phila fans. I predict a less than sell out crowd on Easter Sunday will really boo Iggy in what will (hopefully) be his last game as a Sixer.

Trade iguodala. Sign tayshawn. Same d. Off the charts iq. MORE LENGTH! CHEAPER! CHAMPION! Still in his prime. More stable on o.. Hawes kapono Darius Thad ( if he gets greedy) let them walk. That's 16 mil right there. Trade Lou. That's another 5 mil. Jrue. Meeks. Tayshawn. Brand. And Chandler kaman or Jordan. I say kaman. JR Smith as the sixth man taking over lou's role. THAT 6 is MUCH BETTER THAN MIAMI'S 3! Tayshawn and smith can compete with wade and James. AND GIVE THEM ALL THEY CAN HANDLE! Iguodala Lou and Noc TOGETHER IN A DEAL! that's 23 mil. Start there.

Great fun at the arena last night. Everybody chanting DEE-LAAAHH-NNTAY DEE-LAAAHH-NNTAY when LeBron was at the line. Somehow I hadn't heard about that. Regardless, LeBron and Wade are too much for most teams, not to mention an injury-riddled Sixers. Lou can't drive and Iggy's lost a step. A good effort but you knew by early in the 4th that they'd get wiped. Turn Kapono, Songalia, Nocioni, Battie, Speights, and Brackins into players who impact games and the Sixers have a chance next year, assuming Jrue, Jodie, Evan, Thad, Lou, and Spencer continue to improve. Trade Iggy, I think, for someone stronger inside. Brand has a few more solid years in him.

Yes because teams would just love to trade rare inside players for a guy who makes $15 mil a year and fades under pressure. Yawn, Andre ain't got no trade value.

Everyone here knows what one of the problems is...Iggy. He missed wide OPEN shot after wide OPEN shot. Every time he missed one of those you could feel the momentum fade. He had a 4 point playoff game a few years ago and now coupled with this series it is clear that he can no longer be on this team. Trade him for a marginal big man.

BOX OUT WADE! Collins you can preach rebounding until your face turns blue. But if you look at it. If you have to CONSTANTLY remind players to rebound it's not in their core basketball values. It's out of their character. A pure rebounder... Ben Wallace rodman lynch hill you wouldn't waste a Breath about rebounding because that's who they are. You can't turn a player into a rebounder.. The same effort will not be there EVERYTIME! A pure rebounder will go after EVERY ball. Iguodala and Lou are not pure rebounders.

First of all, what is up with the same exact play as with the first game, where Wade created space with his knee in the air and got a defensive foul called. Holiday had only his hands straight up. It happened again when the Sixers were close to cutting the lead by 2 or 3. The NBA needs reinforce the rules, or the Sixers need to shoot the same way and see what happens.

Valiant effort by the Sixers though. Hawes finally showed up to play well on both ends. I still hope the Sixers do not resign him. He is too much of a liability. Iggy really really needs to go. His injuries should not be blamed, when you are hurt, get paid they way he gets paid and considered the best player on your team, you better show up with your A game in the playoffs. His defense and passing were decent, but his shooting and ballhandling cost us the game. Iggy didn't even take a shot with time winding down to 2 seconds and got a shot clock violation called. His shot selection the whole game was terrible. Also, typical Iggy in the final minutes dribbled off his foot and allowed Miami to get the ball back at a critical time. Lou making only 1 of 3 FTs were killer as well.

The Sixers will need to make some major changes in the offseason. The number 1 agenda should be trading Iggy to fill in needs like a consistent jump shooter and a shot blocker/rebounder. They need to trade for a shooter like Nick Young who maybe available because of the emergence or Jordan Crawford, DeAndre Jordan, Chandler or Kaman. If Howard is willing to be traded to Philly which is highly doubtful, the organization better go all out for him.

Why would anyone trade their shot blocker, an important player in the NBA for overpaid Iguodala?

Any player can be traded look what happened to Baron, Deron and Perkins a shot blocker, rebounder, and one of the best post defenders.

Iguodala is clearly hurt and it is hurting the Sixers on both ends of the floor. This idea might be a little crazy..., but maybe Collins should put Spencer Hawes in at the end of the game. I think it helps their spacing on the floor. At least he can hit a open shot. He did a great job in that Bulls regular season game in Chicago. At the end of games all the Heat are doing is clogging the middle. Notice how they put LeBron on Jrue in the 4th quarter. Turner should have played in the second half also. There is only one maybe two games left in the season. It can't hurt.

Any trade for Iggy should involve snydie and stefini. At this point I'd do it for a season's worth of paninis. Build around Turner & Jrue. Keep Lou & meeks coming off the bench. If Thad still believes he's an 11 million dollar man, let him keep inhaling whatever fumes give him a high and let him walk. He can't dribble, not the greatest passer, and can't shoot a midrange shot. Do not let history repeat itself by signing him to a bad contract like you did Andre!
