Turner seems to bet rebounds when in but...shot selection seems off. He is wanting more time. Should he get it???

Bob, you're right that James Harden is Lou's biggest competition for 6th man of the year, as he's a scoring 16.6 ppg for one of the favorites to reach the finals...Interesting to note the guy averages 31.4 mpg, dwarfing Lou's 25.7, where he produces 15.7 ppg (with an astaounding 3.7 to 1 assit to turnover ratio)...For Lou, he has only played 30 or more 3 times out of 29 games (32,31,31)!...Jrue Holiday has played over 30... 27 times..While DC has built more trust in Lou (+2.4 mpg over last year), Lou's role could be more than just 4rth quarter savior...While some say using him more will wear him down (DC) or that they'll suffer defensively (many), I say the team will draw mire team fouls, get to the line, and score more...Lou rocks, keep up the good work! bearsfriend
Turner needs to grow emotionally as he did in HS and college, mand if he listens to Doug and follows Thad and Lou's example, he'll prosper. JBP- Lou's great when he's got it going, but he's just a gunner with Doug Collins' license to chuck. The Sixers machine delivering lil' Lou Iverson and excepting fans with a memory to buy. scmona
- ET is playing poorly defensively....compared to who??? Lou and Jodie??? That's comical.
Doug has ended his 4th quarter closer dilemma for the season..finally solved the Iggy problem...now Lou is IT...therefore Evan has nothing to do but stand there if he gets in at all and hope he turns into Rip Hamilton. scmona
Turner is certainly not what you expect out of a number 2 pick. It took him a while to blossom in college so we shall see if that trend holds true in his NBA career. One thing seems certain, he doesn't have special ability. He may be a hard worker, but he has his work cut out for him if he plans on being worth his draft spot. Al3000

@See Saw...just like you said Cliff Lee would lose 15 games in 2012? bearsfriend
Sometimes it's hard to figure the way ET dribbles around the key and then tries to penetrate in with that awkward high dribble he has. He gets the ball swiped and stolen too much. Also seems his old shot form returning. He is quick though which I like and a little nasty which I also like. pete176
If you 'bank on' the most ignorant assumption that 'Cousins would have made the Sixers a legit contender', you would probably lose a large portion of your money. Howard, Love, Aldridge, Griffin, I would agree, but COUSINS? The kid is a total prima donna, can't even coexist with what meager talent SAC has, and shows absolutely zero signs of growing up. Granted, he is a beast on the boards, but he would mess up what chemistry we have TOTALLY. If we drafted him, DC wouldn't even be here right now. Turner may not be living up to expectations right now, but at least he isn't a cancer to the team. The only way a team could build around a jerk like Cousins is to get sharpshooters and facilitators who will always look to pass to him first, like what the Magic did with Howard. And Cousins is not and never will be a Howard, much less a Shaq. A team built around Cousins will be a lock for a first-round PO exit. I thought we were planning to go beyond that here. goeagles87
Not tryin to break up a good thing here but Lou should be a starter.... in Boston. Send him & Noc. to Bos. for Ray Allen. Then send Jrue, Lavoy, & Brackins to GS for Steph Curry & Ekpe Udoh. We start Steph, Jesus, Iggy, EB, & Hawes. Night shift of Thad, ET, Meeks, Udoh, & Vuc. This works for not only the teams involved but also the players. Jrue is a better fit for GS as Steph is a better fit here. Coach likes spacing the floor well it dnt get more spaced than w/Jesus and Steph. This also frees up more time for ET to grow, and we hav floor spacing and on 1st and 2nd units. XmarksTheReturn
who is your point guard you fool? blaqjaq
Curry's the PG genius. As for backup pg, ET already is that...lou's our scorer off bench not a pg. Sup w/da name callin? XmarksTheReturn
I've been reading some comments that make little to no sense period. Please read all the bad trades below the sixers have made over the years! Its pathetic.I left several off the list even.
This team has made incrediable strides on D.C. yet we have people with very low Basketball IQ's wanting to either trade or bench have the team. Are the guys saying these nutty things watching where the sixers have come from in less than a year and a half. Get Real!!!
Does anyone realize the average age of the core 9 is barely over 24 years of age. Please guys what are you smoking up their in Philly. Remember you guys boo santa clause while everyone else laughs at you. Whatever it is please send that good stuff to Dallas. The only major issue with the sixers is a old and broken down Elton Brand. Fix that first and then maybe start making trades. But please study the game first before you starting trading off all your young talent. This team will be fine as long as D.C and Rod dont listen to the fans. Remember this is the same crazy franchise that traded Moses Malone for a broken down Jeff Ruland and Rick Mahorn. Them this same franchise traded Charles Barkley for Tim Lang,Jeff Horneck and Tim Perry. Hey lets not forget this brilliant trade Roy Hinson of the Cavs for No #1 pick Brad Daugherty who was a 7 time allstar Center. Please just shut up about trading players. You are clueless study the game. Go Sixers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ALO
Yes we are the darlings of the league right now. Yes hard work on the floor will win games as we hav. But that is only gonna take u so far im this game. Talent wins championships. Mixed w/solid cohesiveness of course. We want a ring and our record is blinding the fans that will still lack the talent, well some of us. I love the way this team works hard for wins. It's the only way we can win with the talent level. We hav good young talent. Whats wrong with wanting greatness. And the fact of the matter is everyone knows we'll stand pat at the deadlime anyway cuz we are winning. I'm trying to get closer to greatness. I like the team's makeup but we all know we hav to outwork our opposition night in/night out fot every win because it's difficult to win close games with the level of talent. Period. Who's been watchin' the games and who's been stat-watchin??? XmarksTheReturn
