 The  76ers signed Jarvis Varnado to a 10-day contract on Saturday.

The 6-foot-9, 225-pounder was called up from the Iowa Energy of the NBA Development League.  He averaged 14.1 points, 11.0 rebounds and a league-best 4.7 blocked shots en route being named a D-League all-star.

The Mississippi State product was the 41st overall pick by the Miami Heat in the 2010 draft.
