Sixers open the season on Wednesday, and questions still rule

Who is starting? Who is coming off the bench and when? Coach Doug Collins is still trying to figure it all out. It's been the the theme of the preseason.

Andre Iguodala might not be in the Sixers starting lineup when they host the Miami Heat in the season opener on Wednesday night. Iguodala sat out today's practice with a sprained right wrist and said that if the season began now, he would be a no-go.

It's just another question of many that surround the Sixers as they get ready to start a new season after going 27-55 a year ago.

It appears that Jrue Holiday, Iguodala, Jason Kapono, Elton Brand and Spencer Hawes will be the starters on Wednesday. But that's still iffy, according to coach Doug Collins. Lou Williams will be the first guard off the bench, and Marreese Speights the first big man. After that, well, who knows.

There are many, many questions still surrounding this team, probably more than even Collins imagined when he took the job back in late May.

For better or worse, stay tuned.
