Sixers mock draft roundup

With the NBA draft just nine days away, here's a roundup of mock drafts, along with projections for the Sixers at No. 15.

ESPN.com's Chad Ford has the Sixers taking Kentucky power forward Terrence Jones:

The Sixers might have a tough choice here between Jones, Sullinger and Arnett Moultrie. They need size, but also shooting. Jones may be the compromise. He measured out very well for a power forward at the combine, has an NBA body and proved to be a solid rebounder and shot-blocker in college. He has tremendous upside if he puts his heart into it.

SI.com's Sam Amick has the Sixers selecting Duke shooting guard Austin Rivers:

The Sixers are well-equipped in their backcourt with young Jrue Holiday and Evan Turner, but Rivers could fit in nicely with his ability to create his own shot and play both positions. The bigger [Terrence] Ross is the better shooter and athlete of the two, but he doesn't have Rivers' versatility.

Jeff Goodman of CBSSports.com also has them taking Rivers:

Doug Collins and the Sixers need scoring desperately. Doc's kid does just that.

Sean Deveney of The Sporting News thinks the Sixers will end up with UConn guard Jeremy Lamb:

The Sixers could look to move up, they could deal Andre Iguodala, they could deal out of the draft altogether. But they need shooters, and Lamb can shoot.

Draft Express has the Sixers going with Baylor power forward Perry Jones.

Hoops Hype projects Mississippi State power forward Arnett Moultrie to the Sixers:

One of the most athletic bigs in the country, Moultrie is a force on the glass and scores in a variety of ways. He can even step out and bury college three pointers. With great length and agility, Moultrie is an intriguing option for teams looking for size and athleticism. The two big complaints about him are his attitude and lack of strength. His intensity level is not always great, particularly on the defensive end. He also seems to be under 230 pounds, but appears to have the frame to add weight once he gets with NBA trainers. Moultrie is getting looks in the late lottery to mid first round.

Steve Alexander of Rotoworld.com has the Sixers taking North Carolina power forward John Henson:

Elton Brand is getting older and the Sixers could use a defensive banger to replace him. Henson should be just that. If they don't go with Henson here, Terrence Jones would be another solid option.

Matt Moore of CBSSports.com projects Henson's teammate, Tyler Zeller, to the Sixers:

Doug Collins will love this guy, and he's a significant upgrade over Spencer Hawes, saving them the money on re-signing him.

Scott Howard-Cooper of NBA.com has them going with Ohio State power forward Jared Sullinger:

Sullinger drops, but maybe to an ideal place. The 76ers can use a power player, and the experienced Sullinger will be an interior presence.
