Video: Leading by 14 points at half time, the Sixers cooled off as Dirk Nowitzki heated up. Nowitzki's 24 points in the second half led the Mavericks to an 82-75 victory over the 76ers. Marc Narducci of the Inquirer reports from the Wells Fargo Center.

The Sixers did improve their 4-20 3rd quarter with a 5-22 4rth...Once the Mavs took away Lou Williams qith zone traps and Shawn Marion, the Sixers had NOTHING...Jrue Holiday looked like he would have rather had a tooth extracted than take another shot, he passed so many up...

Love the guys on this team but...Not a single go to guy on this team, they really need a guy who can make a clutch shot.

Everyone knew that Dirk was the only one who could bring them back. So what done do? Bring Thad in late in the quarter after Mav momentum is built and ask him to play Dirk one on one. 6'8" vs 7'0 with no help. Go figure.
I still like this team. Seldom will Jrue,Jodie,EB, Dre' and Lou have off nights together . Did I mention Evan? Collectively, those six guys shot 12 of 57 from the field. That's 21%. And they only lost by seven.

I'm seeing a little attitude coming out of Turner and Holiday. Turner because of his playing time and Holiday doesn't seem to like being coached either by the coaching staff or by the veteran players, he shuts them out and walks away. Cannot understand why Doug shut down Vucevic and Allen last night in the second half and went with 6'7" Elton Brand at center. Brand was doing absolutely nothing and the 2 kids were playing their butts off and making things happen.
