Rumor: Sixers Expressing Interest In Becoming More Mediocre, Chris Duhon
I'm restating the obvious, but the Philadelphia 76ers have made it their goal to field an extremely poor franchise, at least for this season, that is.
There may be no one better to help them with that pursuit than a professional basketball player who has actually lost to a guy who plays in a recreational league.
Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! reports via Twitter that the Sixers are showing interest in nine-year veteran guard Chris Duhon. Wojnarowski also says that the New York Knicks are looking into Duhon, but their interest seems far less logical.
Philadelphia is certainly weak at the guard position, and Duhon would give the team the backup, veteran ball handler they usually reserve a single roster spot for.
If signed, the 31 year-old would face competition with Justin Holiday, who spent time with the Sixers last year.
