Philadelphia native Kevin Hart entertains, wins MVP of NBA All-Star Celebrity game
It was no surprise that Philly-born comedian Kevin Hart was the star of the NBA Celebrity game Friday night in Houston.
After a five-point, three-rebound performance, filled with outbursts at his oppnents and his own teammates, Hart became the first person to win the game’s Most Valuable Player award twice.
Hart took home the honor after his team, the West, creamed the East, 58-38.
If you couldn’t see him on the court, which is understandable because of his size, you were sure to hear him screaming either from the sidelines or on the court at anyone who could hear him, specifically former Sixers center Dikembe Mutombo after he attempted an ill-advised 3-pointer
Upon receiving the honor, Hart gave an emotional speech where he thanked Michael Jordan for giving him the ability to be so great.
