Brooklyn Nets' new cheerleader uniforms are unbelievable

Wow. We knew things were going to be different when Jay-Z (and co.) moved the Nets to Brooklyn. We knew the team's uniforms were going to be black and white, to fit with the Jigga Man's 'all black everything' ethos. We knew that there was going to be a whole different style with this team, one never before seen by a major professional sports team.
But when it comes to the 'Brooklynette' dancers new outfits, well, I don't think anybody really saw this coming.
The dancers will have a total of seven full costumes designed by David Dalrymple, some of which include a jumpsuit, a cropped warmup jacket, sequined leggings, studded fingerless gloves and something called a 'scuba blazer'.
In an interview with the New York Post, Dalrymple said "This isn’t palm trees and sunshine. It’s New York City, and it’s Brooklyn. It’s a different sensibility. We go hard."
"The uniforms are feminine and strong," said Dalrymple. I have to agree, they're definitely 'strong', but probably because they bring to mind something that might have been worn on American Gladiators or in the Mad Max movies.
All of a sudden, the Sixers' bizarre mascot ideas like Phil E. Moose and Ben Franklin (wearing a bell for a hat, natch) don't seem so ridiculous.
Wow. That's really all there is to say.
Ahhh...let me roll up my tongue first...— Shemp Howard- Hrm... maybe they'll come up with a different uni for each player, or maybe just one for the PG, SG, SF, PF and C. That would be funny. :)

- I think Jayz thinks this is cool. But the uniforms kinda look like the village people. Truth be told all of the nba cheerleading outfits are sleezy. They make woman look like hores but in bright colors with a smile on their faces. All and all its the same everywhere. enjoy while it last.— Zeru
