Slide #24 is not a picture of Terrence Jones. I believe its his teammate Darius Miller. Great piece though- it really shows you did your homework. Filthadelphia01
yeah this is pretty good. my hope is that the trailblazers are tired of picking centers (oden, thabeet) and will pick someone other than drummond. the warriors probably wont take a center, so the sixers could potentially try to get the 7th or 8th for drummond HDemetriou
If it's pick #15, and he's there...I say they'll go Terrence Ross...he's a true catch and shoot guy with fabulous range, can create his shot off the dribble, and isn't relegated to just halfcourt play as he's a high wire act on the break...Length on the wings is a DC wish, he's both a really good player that fits a need...But Royce White would be my extra toy left under the tree...Benching 185-30 times with hands that treat the ball like a grape, yet passes the ball in deft fashion...Versatile and clutch with tremendous value as he's beating his axiety disorder. bearsfriend
I like moultrie but they have to take ross if he is there even though they need frontcourt help they can not pass on ross big need / big upside stayoutofphilly
go big no other choice? bgwille
bear:::agree on the Ross @ 15 not only does it fit a major need but its also a good value at that point as well....I hope Thorn calls out sick the night of the draft.....I can't take him anymore!!!!! bbrady25- Totally agree, the comment just wasn't necessary...If you KNOW you have a fanbase that's been mired in "no man's land" as an overachieving late seed, pople want HOPE. Even if you DO the sensible thing (take a decent player at #15), don't ANNOUNCE that you're not gonna make a move (unless he's just playing ol sly fox)...If they don't move up,just say you couldn't get a deal done...Anyway, they've got to have scenerios in place, as if a Henson or Leonard fall thru the cracks, do they go that route at #15...If they can't get a Jenkins or D Lamb by manuevering into the 20's somehow, is getting some shooters via FA a better route...Rumors about that the Sixers have an interst in gunners Jamaal Crawford, and now JR Smith has said no to 2.4 million from the Knicks..Possibilities are endless, and I still want Royce White...the NBA Draft definitely brings out the spoiled brat in a fan.

yeah Bears, Im wit you. I want ross at 15 really bad! Dont see the need for drafting a power forward when we are getting Illyasova!!! johnGiam
Doesn't JR Smith's off the court troubles bother you bearsfriend? I like his game but he scares me as far as taking a chance on him. Though I think Smith is more of a winner than Jamaal Crawford. Personally I'd rather bring back Lou over either of those two. If Smith could be an addition along with Lou coming back that would be great! It depends on price though. The 76ers have to be careful of their tendencies to overpay and be stuck with players like they have for years now. Dalembert and Brand come to mind. As for the draft whatever will be will be. Hopefully we get a couple good picks that turns out to be a surprise player ala Jrue, LaVoy or Lou. joesmooth2u
Has this been updated? No one is going to take Sullinger this early ConverseB24
joesmooth:yes,it does...He can get lethal hot, but his shot selection I believe would send DC into convulsions...I'm a Lou guy,and want him here, but I'd say he's a litle bit of a long shot to stay because of the money. I like Ross because he's an upgrade to Jodie as a catch and shoot guy, but when the Sixers get going uptempo, he can really finish. This Draft has alot of good players, but NOT lots of good shooters, which the Sixers do need...If they don't Ross, maybe a play for Courtney Lee, who nails corner 3's (a definite Sixer weakness) and plays defense. bearsfriend
we need shooters and big men so take the best available or move up and take both if we are able. but the key to any draft is to find a difference maker for your teams style of play. If the sixers look for that then we will be fine. male
I like first Perry Jones III pf and next Terrence Ross Sg I also like Jeremy Lamb if we move Iggy. question where are the european players at this year? and any other non american players? male- Trade Iggy and get a pick which can translate to Fab Melo. How many times did opposing big men take Hawes & Co. to the hoop and get an easy bucket? This would not happen with the Brazilian center. He is a defensive machine and has enough offense for someone who would play the low post. Let the kid platoon with Vuke, who can play the high post, and add a veteran center (one who can play and not rot on the bench) who can lend his experience to both of them.
And draft Sullinger who will be a star in this league.
Then decide whether to amnesty EB and use the cap space or hang with him and take advantage of his contract next year.
There......... so do it. World
If T.Ross, T.Jones, PJ3, Moultrie, and Sullinger are all on the board I say go w/who's got the most potential. PJ3. If we can somehow snag one of those pix houston or Bos. has, get Ross. XmarksTheReturn
