Villanova assistant Billy Lange has agreed to terms to join the 76ers coaching staff, according to a league source.

As a result, Lange joins assistants Chad Iske (formerly of the Denver Nuggets), Lloyd Pierce (Memphis Grizzlies) and Greg Foster (University of Texas at El Paso) on new coach Brett Brown’s coaching staff.

Lange, a Haddon Heights native and Bishop Eustace product, has served as the Wildcats associate head coach the past two seasons. Before his second assistant-coaching stint at Villanova, the 41-year-old was Navy's head coach for seven seasons.

Lange's other coaching stops were at Bishop Eustace (head coach), Philadelphia University (assistant), La Salle (assistant) and the United States Merchants Marines Academy (head coach).
