Bulls top Sixers in Vegas

LAS VEGAS – The Bulls defeated the 76ers, 79-68, in Thursday night's NBA Summer League second-round matchup at the Thomas & Mack Center.

The Sixers (2-3) will face the NBA Development League Select Team in Friday's consolation round.

Swingman Jordan McRae had another standout performance in the loss.

The 6-foot-6, 185-pounder finished with a game-high 25 points. He made his first seven shot attempts en route to finishing, 7-for-8.  McRae also went 10-for-10 from the foul line. The former Tennessee standout is averaging 21 in four games. He missed Wednesday's victory over the Lakers with a sprained-left ankle.

Nerlens Noel added 14 points, five rebounds and two assists. KJ McDaniels had 11 points.

Noel left the game in the third quarter after suffering a cramp in his right hamstring.  The 6-11 center went to the locker room to have his left ankle retaped. He returned to the game late in the quarter.

Noel missed the previous two games after tweaking his ankle in Monday's setback to the Cavaliers.

Tony Snell and Cameron Bairstow scored 18 points apiece to lead the Bulls (4-0). Doug McDermott added 11.
