Philadelphia has forgiven former Sixers star Allen Iverson for a number of his previous transgressions.

This transgression, however, may be unforgivable.

Iverson posted on his Twitter account Thursday night that he hoped his Cowboys bring home a victory over the Redskins Sunday.

Forum: When will the 76ers be a contender?

The Cowboys (7-7) currently trail the Eagles (8-6) by one game for first place in the NFC East.

An Eagles win combined with a Cowboys loss would hand the Birds their first division title since 2010.

A Cowboys victory, regardless of the outcome of the Eagles-Bears game, will turn Week 17’s matchup between the NFC East rivals into a de facto division title game.

Needless to say, the fans in Philadelphia — the same fans that cheered Iverson on for years and still do to until this day — do not want the Cowboys to win Sunday.

Say it ain't so, A.I.?
