Rodney Williams is one of the newest 76ers.

The undrafted rookie free agent out of Minnesota recently signed a partially guaranteed, multi-year contract with the Sixers, a team source confirmed. The guard/forward will be on the team’s roster when it opens the season against the Miami Heat on Oct. 30.  Williams could spend a portion of this season with the Delaware 87ers, the Sixers’ NBA Development League affiliate.

The 6-foot-7, 205-pounder high-flyer averaged eight points and 1.2 rebounds in July for the Sixers’ Orlando Pro Summer League team. Williams averaged 10.1 points and five rebounds as a power forward at Minnesota last season.
