Sixers big men: Strengths and weaknesses

Joel Embiid Strengths: Embiid has a solid low-post game and he can step out and make three-point shots. There's really not a lot the 7-foot-2, 276-pounder, who will command double teams, struggles to do on the floor.

Joel Embiid

Strengths: Embiid has a solid low-post game and he can step out and make three-point shots. There's really not a lot the 7-foot-2, 276-pounder, who will command double teams, struggles to do on the floor.

Weaknesses: The biggest question mark surrounding Embiid is his durability. Can he stay on the floor? He missed the past two seasons due to having surgeries to repair the navicular bone in his right foot. He also missed games due to a back injury during his lone season at Kansas.

Nerlens Noel

Strengths: Noel is a great shot blocker and solid rebounder, who also collects his fair share on assists and steals. He runs the floor like a swingman. Noel has shown to be a solid player when playing with up-tempo, pass-first point guards.

Weaknesses: The former Kentucky standout needs to work on his offensive skill set. Right now, he scores a lot of points around the basket on dunks and lobs. Noel is looking to develop a jump shot.

Jahlil Okafor

Strengths: Okafor has one of the best offensive skill sets of any NBA big man. He's a highlight in the making with the ball in his hands. He's known for putting defenders on skates with his array of post moves.

Weaknesses: As dominant as he is offensively, the former Duke standout struggles on the defensive end. He lacks lateral quickness and is not an explosive leaper.
