LAS VEGAS – The 76ers capped their NBA Summer League play with a win, defeating the Miami Heat, 74-66, Friday night in a consolation game at the Thomas & Mack Center.

"I just wanted to finish with a win," said Simmons, the first overall pick in the last month's NBA draft. "So I came out here aggressive and I tried to take over the game."

Ben Simmons finished with 15 points, 10 rebounds, six assists, and six turnovers after missing the past two games to rest. The 6-foot-10, 243-pound point forward once again dazzled the crowd with his playmaking ability.

One of his highlights came when he faked out two defenders then delivered a no-look, over-the-shoulder pass to Shawn Long. The center converted it into a layup with 4 minutes, 43 seconds left in the third quarter.

Long finished with 18 points on 10 rebounds in his first start. The former Louisiana-Lafayette standout made 8 of 13 shots. Richaun Holmes added 14 points and a game-high two blocks for the Sixers (2-4).

Damion Lee finished with 17 points to lead the Heat (3-3).
