Former Sixers Wayns, Anderson to play in Lithuania

James Anderson, who played last seasons for the 76ers, and former Villanova star Maalik Wayns have signed one-year contracts with Zalgiris Kaunas of the Lithuanian Basketball League.

Anderson, 25, who attended Oklahoma State, averaged 10.1 points in 80 games (62 starts) for the Sixers last season while averaging 28.9 minutes. Wayns, 23, who graduated from Roman Catholic High School, has spent time with the Sixers and the Los Angeles Clippers during his two NBA seasons. He scored 1,191 career points in three seasons at Villanova.
