Some intriguing possibilities for Sixers to consider

If any one of these five guys is available, the Sixers might find he’s the right one for them.

Whom the 76ers will go with at pick No. 11 tonight is anybody's guess, but here are five players who may be among the top choices on their list and still available:

* Cody Zeller, PF, Indiana: 20 years old, 7 feet, 230 pounds, 6-10 3/4 wingspan; 16.5 points, 8.1 rebounds, 1.3 assists. Zeller is projected to be a big "four" man, with tremendous athleticism who can run the floor and knows the game. The problem is he doesn't possess a very good midrange shooting game and isn't strong enough to play consistently on the low blocks. He is a good free throw shooter, which shows he does have shooting touch. He is athletic enough to get to the rim against other players his size, but if he isn't a threat to make midrange jumpers, teams simply will back off him and stunt his progression to the rim.

* Steven Adams, C, Pittsburgh: 19 years old, 7 feet, 255 pounds, 7-4 1/2 wingspan; 7.2 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.0 blocks. Perhaps the biggest project of the potential lottery picks. The New Zealand native could be intriguing to the Sixers because he has a massive, NBA-ready body, which makes him almost immovable down low. But there is little polish to his offensive game. Athletically, he has shown good enough footwork for people to think he could play defense in the league right away, but the rest of his game appears to be a few years away.

* C.J. McCollum, PG/SG, Lehigh: 21 years old, 6-3 1/4, 197 pounds, 6-6 1/4 wingspan, 23.9 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.9 assists. A natural scorer, McCollum could be high on the Sixers' list, as he probably would also be able to play point guard, and finding a backup to starter Jrue Holiday is a priority. Named a preseason All-American surrounded McCollum with a lot of hype, which was cut short by a foot injury that cost him half the season. If the Sixers aren't set on drafting a big man and McCollum is available at 11, it might be very hard for them to pass on him.

* Kelly Olynyk, C, Gonzaga: 22 years old, 7 feet, 234 pounds, 6-9 3/4 wingspan; 18.1 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists. Olynyk was an extremely efficient offensive player this season for the Zags, shooting 62.9 percent from the floor with the ability to step out to the three-point line, and also sank 77.6 percent of his free throws. His ballhandling ability allowed for him to get to the basket. He carries with him that dreaded "tweener" label, as he isn't big and strong enough to cover centers down low and doesn't possess the foot speed to cover the hybrid power forwards who litter the league, the ones who can step out and hit the midrange jumpers.

* Shabazz Muhammad, SF, UCLA: 20 years old, 6-6, 222 pounds, 6-11 wingspan; 17.9 points, 5.2 rebounds. Before entering UCLA, many thought Muhammad would be the top pick after playing only one season. But it was a season of turmoil for Muhammad as injuries and a slow start to the season brought doubts. Then it was discovered that his dad lied about his son's age. Still, many think Muhammad may be the most NBA-ready player in the draft. He could be something the Sixers desperately need, and that's a true shooting guard. His attitude has been questioned at times, but there is no denying he oozes confidence.
