Sixers, Suns meet tonight in Mexico
The 76ers will face the Phoenix Suns tonight in Monterrey, Mexico - the NBA's 18th game in the country and its second in that city.
Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. It will be the Sixers' second preseason game against the Suns in three days. On Friday night in Phoenix, the Suns beat them, 115-113.
The Sixers dropped to 4-1 in the preseason.
On Friday, the Sixers trailed, 98-80, with 8 minutes, 8 seconds remaining before rallying to take a 106-104 lead on a dunk by forward Marreese Speights with 1:58 left.
Speights finished with 32 points on 12-for-18 shooting from the floor and was one of five Sixers in double figures: Lou Williams (27 points), Jason Smith (11), rookie Jrue Holiday (14), and Thaddeus Young (10).
Holiday, who did not play in Tuesday night's exhibition win over the New York Knicks, played 30 minutes and had seven rebounds and six assists.
The Sixers return home to play the Washington Wizards on Tuesday night at the Wachovia Center.
