Ivey upgraded to play against Knicks
76ers guard Royal Ivey was cleared yesterday to play in tomorrow's preseason game against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.
Ivey had been listed as day-to-day with a strained left hamstring. Forwards Rodney Carney and Stromile Swift are suffering from the same injury.
Carney will not travel to New York, the team said. Swift will be monitored during today's practice to determine if he can play.
