The Sixers face a lot of off-season questions this summer. Tony DiLeo did a respectable job getting this team to the playoffs, but he really is not a head coach in this league. Nor should he be the head coach of the Sixers next season.

As for the team, there are many issues, and I'm not sure how many can actually be addressed. The Sixers start two players who flat out are not good enough to be starters in Willie Green and Samuel Dalembert. We also rely on Andre Iguodala to be our No. 1 option, which he should not be. Iguodala should be a No. 2 or 3 option and a facilitator.

With the 17th pick in the draft, the Sixers should address one of two positions: point guard or center.

No bench for Sixers

Theo Ratliff has every right to be upset. With Sammy Dalembert literally killing the team [Thursday] night, he, along with fellow big men Marreese Speights, Donyell Marshall, and Reggie Evans, were mostly left to rot on the bench, even though Ratliff, Marshall, and Evans had been pretty key components for the Sixers in the series.

And just like that, the Phillies are the only game in town after the debacle on the basketball court at the Center [Thursday] night. Having not followed the Sixers all that closely this season, tell me what is it about Samuel Dalembert that elicits such a violent reaction? People really dislike the way Sammy conducts himself, and it's not just the fans in Philly.

Apparently Dwight Howard and Hedo Turkoglu don't care much for Dalembert's basketball stylings, either.

Could it be that Sammy Dalembert is the Jose Reyes of the NBA, only not an all-star-caliber player, of course. Hey, why not? I've already labeled the Mets' David Wright as the Danny Ainge of baseball.
