Hill was stopped about 4:30 a.m. by police officer Bryan Tierney, who saw him make an unsafe lane change. His blood-alcohol content was measured at 0.16, twice the legal limit.

Hill was released to friends about 7 a.m., and is due back in Mount Kisco Village Court for a hearing on July 24.

Hill was the 55th overall choice in the 2007 draft by Utah, which traded him to the Sixers for the rights to Kyrylo Fesenko, who had been drafted 38th. He is an unrestricted free agent; the Sixers did not make him a qualifying offer.

In a summer league game:

* At Las Vegas, Anthony Randolph, Golden State's top draft choice from LSU, scored 30 points and had eight rebounds in the Warriors' 96-89 victory over the 76ers.

Top draft choice Marreese Speights had 22 points and 13 rebounds for the Sixers, who were led by Thaddeus Young's 27 points. Jason Smith and Jamont Godon (Mississippi State) each scored 11 points.
