Allen Iverson and wife Tawanna remain engaged in a bitter divorce and The Answer recently outlined his finances in court documents filed in Georgia, and claims he runs a deficit of close to $300K per month according to a TMZ report.

Iverson says monthly expenses cost him about $360,000 per month while he brings in income of $62,500 per month.

According to the court filings, Iverson pays more than $125,000 to assorted creditors including his jeweler, and also spends money on several mortgates, though as TMZ states, his Atlanta mansion is about to be auctioned off.

A.I. reports that he spends $10,000 a month on clothes, $10,000 on groceries, $1,000 on dry cleaning and $10,000 per month on restaurants (It’s unclear how much is spent at T.G.I. Friday’s) and entertainment.

Iverson, who earned about $150 million throughout his NBA career, still owns a Maybach valued at nearly $400,000.

What was wrong with the Bentleys in which he used to cruise around Philly?

$10,000 in groceries? He only weighs 150 lbs. So if a family of four lives on a $500 month grocery bill, this is enough for 20 families or 80 people. He never got rid of the hanger-ons... What a shame.

It's not easy to roll thru $150m but here you go. This boy is gonna be keepin' it real behind bars one day soon, if he lives long enough. And that's a real shame. $150 MILLION. Think about that for a minute.

When you're supporting Mother dear, her husband, half sisters and brothers, your posse and your future ex-wife and kids, I can see a huge grocery bill. What dry cleaning? His style is basically the same -- baggy pants and a t-shirt, maybe a rag around the head. He doesn't want to pay his future ex-wife.

This is the part where all of the A.I. apologists start saying that he has that lifetime deal with Reebok. The only problem is, that contract is lifetime for as long as he is playing, which he is not. That money be long gone, son.

agreed with franknbeans -- but at the same time, if you're a sixers fan and loved the iverson era, than you should honestly shut the f up. no true iverson fan would talk smack. he's a product of his environment, plain and simple. it's how he grew up; he never changed -- only the money did. it went from nothing to everything -- and then, apparently, back to nothing. whatever -- think about game 1 of the finals to all the haters, and suck on that. because if you can't win it all -- which in this city, 4 teams typically have failed to do every season in the past 30, save 1 (and one golden one) -- i'd rather have AI out there entertaining for a decade. HOLLA. bubba4eva.

He's in the middle of a divorce so he's going to extremes to pay a little as possible. Many people do that ; of course, not on this scale.

In a few years you'll see he's in trouble with the IRS, then w/o a permanent home and then complaining that no one will hire him for any type of job, and it will be everyone's fault except his

"Did you talk to Tawana?" Seriously, Iverson has a $45million trust that he'll have access to when he's 45. That's why his wife wants that loot.

AI could never wear the same outfit twice and not even come close to $10K a month for clothing expense...Groceries would have to include the world's most expensive foods to add up to $10K a month...His dry cleaner is totally ripping him off at $1K a month...It only makes sense if he's still feeding and clothing a posse, and his entertainment is gambling. A truly pathetic case, only deserving of sympathy because of his ignorance.

I assume, with a tab of 3 mil a year, that his entourage of parasites and hangers-on still exists. I was so cynical-- I assumed that bunch would drop off after the money ran out. Gee. i was wrong.
