Bucks expect Bogut to face Sixers

Milwaukee Bucks center Andrew Bogut is expected to face the Sixers in Monday's 2 p.m. matchup at the Wells Fargo Center. Bogut suffered concussion-like symptoms in Thursday win over Detroit.

Under the league's new concussion protocol, he was prohibited from playing until passing a series of tests.

According to a Bucks official, Bogut was cleared on Sunday and practiced with the team. The Bucks say they expect him to play against the Sixers.

Milwaukee (4-7) is obviously a different team with Bogut. Besides being sidelined for Friday's loss at Dallas, Bogut missed four other games this season to fly home to Australia for an undisclosed personal matter.

This season Bogut has played six games and the Bucks are 4-2. Milwaukee is 0-5 with him out of the lineup. He is averaging 13.5 points and 9.2 rebounds in the six games.

Also for the Bucks, Benu Udrih (left shoulder sprain) practiced on Sunday and will be a game-time decision. Mike Dunleavy (groin) and Mbah a Moute (right knee tendinitis) are both out.

To show how crazy this shortened NBA season is, Sixers coach Doug Collins, as well prepared as anybody, had to ask a simple question during his postgame press conference following Saturday's 103-90 win at Washington.

"Who do we play on Monday," Collins asked.

He was saying how the Sixers have to ready to play for their next opponent.

With so many games, there are many coaches and players who don't know who the next one is against.
