Eagles Trade Rumors: DE Vinny Curry available for trade

The Eagles have been silent when it comes to the trade deadline and that uncharacteristic lack of news may be coming to an end. Eagles second-year defensive end Vinny Curry was listed in a group of available players for trade by NFL Media's Ian Rapoport on Tuesday. The Eagles are not actively shopping Curry but are listening to offers, per Rapoport.

The former second-round pick was a healthy inactive for the first two games of the season. He made his debut in Week 3 and immediately made an impact with a sack. Curry has played ever since and has collected five tackles, two sacks and a pass deflection over six games. Still, he has been limited to a rotation and played just 16-percent of the snaps in Week 8's loss to the Giants.

Curry still obviously has potential and is likely to draw suitors, but it is unclear if he has much value. After missing the 12 games as a healthy scratch over the last two seasons, have the Eagles killed his value? Curry was a second-round pick just 19 months ago but likely would only fetch a sixth or seventh-round pick at the trade deadline. Is that really worth it for Howie Roseman?

[Note by Brandon Lee Gowton, 10/29/13 11:34 AM EDT ] FWIW, Rueben Frank says the Eagles will not trade Curry.
