Memphis guard Michael Dixon cleared to play
Dixon was suspended for the first six games of 2012-13 for Missouri, then decided to leave the program after being accused of sexual assault on two separate occasions. No charges were filed in either case.
"I'd be remiss if I didn't say the work of Josh Pastner and the people at the University of Memphis have been unbelievable. The diligence that they put in on checking Michael's background and finding out information about him, and then, once they found out this was a kid they would be willing to take a chance on, going out and putting in the work and getting this done."
In two seasons at Missouri, Dixon averaged 13.5 points and 3.3 assists per game as the sixth man.
